About the Piggy Bank: Taking Finances Personally
Yielding Wealth is a personal finances blog. My name is Miranda Marquit, and I try to write with a focus on helping ordinary people take simple steps to begin (or continue) building their net worth.
Yielding Wealth includes information on investing, saving money and everyday things you can do to cut costs and build wealth.
I welcome reader questions about personal finances via email, and I often answer them on the Yielding Wealth blog via the Ask the Piggy Bank feature. The goal is to make Yielding Wealth a community-based personal finance blog, so comments are encouraged and welcome. Through participation, everyone can learn a little more about personal finances.
My main writing focuses on personal finances, but I do have a soft spot for science (I am a reporter for PhysOrg.com, oddly enough). I write the Personal Finance Corner for All Business, as well as cover investing news for The Panelist. I am a certified contributor on Seeking Alpha, and my writing has appeared on the Huffington Post.
